This work, a curated playlist, is a personal portrait which gives a glimse into my inspirational envoirement and an idea of how I research.
The idea, focusing on Remixes, crafted from the thought that everything is an symbiosis and nothing exists on its own. This playlist takes in different aspects of what an remix can be, from an cover as interpretation to an original much lesser known than it’s remix.
The cover picture shown above is a remix of analog and digital aesthetics in form of a collage. Visually and conceptual its parts are exchanging every aspects between organic and non-organic. The ratio used is a square, bridging vinyl covers and standard Instagram format, two major release platforms for music at their times.
